Dear Daily Actor,

Spring has just about sprung!🌷The days are brighter, the gardens are greener, and our calendar is blooming with ways to connect, learn, and grow together:

  • This Friday, our 10-week Cultivating Your Inner Landscape series begins— it's not too late to sign up! This collaboration with Blue Zones Project Petaluma and the Petaluma Regional Library, led by our wonderful support volunteer Devin, is a chance to nurture resilience from the inside out, in community with others.
  • If you’re ready to get your hands in the soil, join a Garden Stewards Volunteer Day! It’s the perfect way to connect with Daily Acts staff and like-minded folks while tending gardens and harvesting the bounty.
  • In April, Daily Acts will be attending the postering session at North Bay Watershed Association’s Conference, Meeting This Moment in a Climate of Change, where we will share our newest project designed to support those most at risk of climate-induced flooding. The goal of this project is to pilot cost-effective green stormwater solutions like curb cuts and rain gardens and reduce the barriers to implementing these solutions.
  • We're thrilled to host a Bilingual Drip Irrigation Workshop at McDowell Elementary School in April! Led by irrigation expert Willian Soriano, together we'll install a new drip irrigation system. Plus, we're offering free lunch to all who attend (yum!).
  • And save the date: we’re celebrating Earth Day with a Community Planting Day at Petaluma City Hall! If your job offers Volunteer Time Off, or you’re available that Wednesday, we’d love to see you there.

In other news, Daily Acts is seeking an Associate Director to provide financial and operational leadership as we continue to expand our impact in Sonoma County and beyond. Please help us spread the word, we’d love your help finding the perfect fit.
