| Happy New Year, Daily Actor! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season, with many opportunities to rest, renew, and reconnect through time with loved ones and in nature. As our team hits the ground running this year, we wanted to take a moment to highlight the impact your generosity has had, and how your continued involvement helps propel our work forward. We are excited to share that your support helped us successfully complete our Land Resilience Partnership Pilot Program! The 62 installed projects now conserve more than two million gallons of water annually for the City of Petaluma, in addition to providing fire resilience, flood reduction, habitat and urban shade - a model that is now spreading further across our community! |
| This year, we’re building the momentum and expanding our LRP Program with: - Free lawn transformations across Sonoma County: TODAY marks the official launch of our Grass to Gardens Program, extending the Land Resilience Partnership Program from Petaluma to Sonoma County. Learn more and apply today!
- Free consultation and design support for well-water users: We are seeking nine more sites for our Well-Designed Landscape Program! Apply for a customized “Catalog of Projects” featuring actionable ideas to conserve groundwater, reduce strain on private wells, and cut long-term maintenance costs.
- Three new school gardens: This year, we’re installing three new school landscapes through our Climate Resilient Schools Program. Stay tuned for the locations and volunteer planting days to follow. 🌱
- Rain gardens, curb cuts and more: This fall, we'll be launching a green stormwater pilot program to support our flood-prone neighborhoods in Petaluma through community listening, demonstration projects, helping develop installation templates and a streamlined permitting process—creating models that can scale across Sonoma County and beyond.

| In addition to these exciting offerings, there are already ample opportunities to get in the garden with Daily Acts this month and next, with Garden Stewardship Volunteer days and a workshop about planting the right plant in the right place. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming events! |
| P.S: We would like to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated to our end of year campaign. Thanks to your generosity, we reached our fundraising goal of $50K towards community powered climate action. 🧡 |
