Dear Daily Actor, This April, Earth Month serves as a reminder of the vital role each of us plays in taking action to create a more equitable and climate-resilient future. We are excited to share some updates from the field on several dozen upcoming installations that are growing our community resilience. 🌱 |
Last week, we hosted a community input session at Sunrise Park to share about the upcoming garden installation and hear feedback on our draft designs. If you live near Sunrise Park in Petaluma, it’s not too late to share your thoughts by taking our survey! We are excited to move forward with this next public demonstration garden as a part of our Land Resilience Partnership (LRP) program in collaboration with Occidental Arts and Ecology Center, Sonoma RCD and Petaluma Bounty. |
Additionally, our team will be completing thirty more residential installations this year, including lawn conversions, rainwater catchment, and laundry-to-landscape greywater systems. If you are interested in receiving a free landscape design or low-to-no cost installation, now is your last chance to apply with applications closing this month on April 30th. Whether you are lending a hand at a community planting day, growing your climate-resilient skillset, or speaking up for a cause close to your heart, every action you take today counts towards making the change we wish to see in the world tomorrow a reality. We hope you will join us at one of our upcoming events to celebrate Earth Day, every day! 🌍🧡 With gratitude, Jess Gallagher Programs Manager P.S - We are still seeking a passionate person to join our fun and enthusiastic team! Learn more about the Programs Coordinator role below. |

"If climate change is going to be addressed, it's going to be done by people working at a scale where they can see the influence of what they're doing. My hope would be that Daily Acts is seen as a model that teaches others in California, and perhaps even beyond. That's because I love what Daily Acts does and what it can become.” -Bruce Hartsough |
