At last month's Native Tree Care Workshop, participants learned about the subjective nature of pruning and the criticality of intentional cuts. A huge thanks to Fred and Kamala from Vintage Tree Care for donating their time to teach this workshop 🤍

Greetings Daily Actor,

Community mobilizations have always been at the heart of Daily Acts’ work. We believe that our collective actions have the power to create positive impacts for our communities and planet.

Through collaborative partnerships with nonprofits, municipalities, businesses, schools, community organizations and individuals, we can address the pivotal issues facing our planet, from flood and fire to drought and pandemic. Together, we can be the change we wish to see in the world.

Next month, we have two exciting community planting mobilizations taking place at Miwok Park and Miwok Valley Charter School in Petaluma! We need volunteers to help plant beautiful water-wise gardens at these neighboring sites. These gardens will sequester carbon, sink and hold water in the soil, and provide habitat for pollinators. 🦋 Kids are welcome and encouraged to participate at both events.

In case you missed it - Check out this video from our McKinley School garden transformation last Fall.

When you volunteer you become part of a movement, capable of sharing your newly acquired skills with your circle of influence, planting seeds of change. Once they take root, they’ll spread even further, rippling the impacts of our small daily actions out and onward!

With gratitude,
Sarina Consulter
Communications Manager

Join our ever-growing community of sustainers!🌱

We invite you to help nourish Daily Acts this spring by signing up to be a monthly donor for one year. You’ll be joining a great group of people who foster community resilience and have learned to save water, grow food, conserve energy, reduce waste, and build community, sharing knowledge and skills with others in a growing ripple effect.

A monthly contribution is income that we can count on and enables our education and outreach efforts, inspiring more people to adopt eco-friendly habits for everyday sustainability, such as rainwater harvesting and regenerative gardening.

By donating, you directly contribute to a healthier planet and a more sustainable future for all. Consider a $30 per month (a dollar a day!) or higher donation and watch us grow!
