Daily Acts & Petaluma City Parks are collaborating to enhance Sunrise Park— and we would love to share our plan and hear your input!

Through the Land Resilience Partnership Program, Daily Acts has been transforming underutilized public turf lawns into beautiful native plant and pollinator gardens. In alignment with California legislation (AB1572) to replace non-functioning lawn, we will be working alongside the City of Petaluma to replace a portion of the park with gardens that increase shade, gathering space, habitat, biodiversity, and beauty of the environment. 

If you frequent this park or live in this community, we invite you to join us at Sunrise Park on Thursday, March 27 from 5:30-6:30 pm.  We will be sharing our project scope, answering questions, and providing FREE food! Daily Acts would love to hear your feedback and learn how you interact with the space— ensuring voices of the community are heard and incorporated into the project's design.
